Mom & Pop’s Diner is a family owned, second-generation restaurant. Sidney and Sally Cramer owned their first successful restaurant in Southern California before moving to Palm Springs and turning their business over to their son, Doug Cramer. Doug followed in his parents’ footsteps as a successful restaurateur, opening two restaurants in Southern California prior to the Cramer family venturing to Northern Nevada.

Doug and his dad, Sidney opened Pop’s BBQ in Carson City in 1995, getting its name from Doug’s father. When Doug and Jamesa met and married in 1998, the second generation Cramer’s officially took over. To date, Mom & Pop’s Diner has been successfully serving downtown Carson City, Nevada for the past 7 years. The family atmosphere and good food are mere reflections of the owners, Doug, Jamesa and their children who cook, clean and serve throughout the week.

Mom & Pop’s Diner is located in beautiful downtown Carson City, across from the Nevada State Capital Building. We offer a large menu, featuring something for everyone’s taste. We strive to provide excellent service and food, friendly faces, and a relaxed atmosphere.
